Mr. Yamauchi joined our group in 2017 and currently serves as a Statutory Auditor. Prior to joining the group, he worked at Ernst & Young ShinNihon LLC, where he audited financial institutions, concentrating on life insurance companies, regional banks etc. He had involved in financial due diligence projects for financially distressed/integrated financial institutions as well. Mr. Yamauchi also assumed various positions such as a member of Governance Council of Ernst & Young ShinNihon LLC, the Presiding Partner of EY Japan Regional Partners Forum, and the Japanese representative member of EY Global Governance Council. At the of Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (JICPA), he also served as the chairperson of the Life Insurance Expert Subcommittee, a member of Insurance Expert Subcommittee, a member of the Banking Industry Research Committee and a member of the Publishing Committee.
Mr. Yamauchi is a Certified Public Accountant.
Mr. Yamauchi received a B.A. in Commerce from Waseda University.
